This week, Westridge Construction played host to a CITB Construction Ambassadors Course for Hawes Building and friends to partake in.
The course equipped ambassadors with resources and qualified them to visit schools and colleges, to deliver accurate and helpful careers guidance regarding the construction industry.
In attendance, Hawes Director Sarra Hawes, will now visit suggested schools and colleges, a minimum of twice per year, in her role as a CITB Construction Ambassador
With the aid of the new knowledge I have gained and the provided ‘Go Construct’ portal, I can access a huge range of resources and materials to help inspire and raise awareness of firstly, a career in construction to young people, and also through my own journey, encourage young women into the industry.
I really look forward to putting these tools into practice.
