The Brief

Bruce and Sarra Hawes are both Directors of the rugby club as well as main sponsors and therefore have a vested interest in the building and the people who use the club on a regular basis – read more here.

The clubhouse needed a new roof, some interior redecoration and repair work and the unused changing facilities down the field needed upgrading.

Our Solution

• A new roof was installed
• Painting and repair works were carried out inside the clubhouse
• Two large screen televisions were installed.
• Work is currently underway on refurbishing the external changing facilities which haven’t been used for many years.
• Fascia boards have been replaced and the roof is complete.
• Walls are down and the building is now structurally sound.

The Result

The new roof has provided a dry clubhouse for many years to come. The refurbishment of the external changing block will provide much-needed facilities for visiting teams, ladies and youth teams. The clubhouse now looks very smart and is hired out for private functions, training courses and meetings during the day.
