The Brief

We were appointed to carry out a programme of structural alterations and internal refurbishment to improve the downstairs layout and create a more practical, welcoming living space better suited to the family’s needs. The works focused on making better use of the existing space, improving the flow between rooms and creating a more functional layout for everyday family life.

Our Solution

We removed the integral garage to create additional space for the new family living area, making better use of the existing footprint. Internal walls were removed and reconfigured to accommodate a new utility room and spacious open-plan kitchen, creating a much more sociable and practical layout. New bi-folding doors were installed, opening up the living space and bringing the beautiful surrounding countryside into the home. The works were completed with new flooring throughout and a fresh redecoration, giving the downstairs a bright, modern feel.

The Result

The transformation created a spacious, modern open-plan family living area, making much better use of the available space. The new layout, utility room and bi-folding doors have improved the flow of the home, creating a brighter, more practical and welcoming space that makes the most of its beautiful countryside setting.
